Camp Iwannastitch

I've added September 23-25 for Camp Iwannastitch.  Join now!  First come, first serve, reserve your spot while there are still openings.

 Summer Tuesday Hours Change
During this summer [June 14, 21, 28 and July 5, 12 and 19] the store will not open on Tuesdays until noon instead of at 10 am.

Scarves for Troops

I'm sorry to say we're ending Troop Saturdays.  It was the 1st Saturday of every month.  You could bring a donation for the troops and get 15% off your purchases.  Also if you came to knit for the troops you would get the discount.  Due to the drop off of participation we're having to end it early.  Thanks to all who did knit and donated.     We will send along the scarves and donations to the troops.

Birthdays - Lets Have a Sale!

Next month is full of important birthdays.  The queen celebrates on June 6.  But more important than that, Joey cat turns 4 years old on the 20th.  That's the day after father's day.  So he gets to celebrate 2 days in a row!  Where has the time gone.  Remember when he was such a tiny little kitten getting into the floss and beads and jumping and climbing the Christmas tree and the floss racks?  Joey's step-son Scooter also has a birthday June 10.  We don't know when Bella (Joey's wife and Scooter's mom) was born.  She won't tell us her age.  But maybe it's in June too.  Sounds like a great month for a sale.  In honor of Joey because he's more important to us than the queen, and since Joey is a father, let's have the sale the week before and after Father's day.  That's a 2 week long sale.  So if you order or come in to shop but realize you forgot something, you'll have time to pick it up and still get the sale price.  How's 20% off everything in the store?!?!?!?!

Dogwood Patch Sale

For the rest of the month of May-Find a chart in the store with a Dogwood Patch price tag on it and you'll get an extra 10% off.  Even during a sale or if you find it in clearance.  You'll also get 10% off the fabric and floss to go with it.  Just tell your cashier.

 A Few Charts

On to the mentioning of charts????..

We have Diamonds Delight by Stickideen von der Wiehenburg.  I'm sure a lot of you will be wanting to stitch this one up.  I think it will go quite fast.

Notforgotten Farm Class?

If you know the designer Notforgotten Farm, Lori wants to come and teach a class October 7 & 8.  It will be on primitive cross stitch, designing your own sampler, color planning, dyeing linen and painting frames.  Is this something you would consider?  Please reply to this email to let me know if you would be interested.  If we can get enough together for a class I think we would learn a lot.  And have fun doing it too!

Joined Facebook

I've joined Facebook!  You can look me up by searching Terrie Alley Pruett.  Never say never!  But it's cutting down my blogging time:  http://terrie-pruett.blogspot.com/

I'm still working at Publix and loving it.  I'm cashiering and decorating cakes.  I'm told I will start learning the office soon.  The fun never ends!
